This Canteen, also known as the Sir JJ Canteen and, started in 1938 used to offer home-style meals at low prices. The Kotian family used to run it, but a contractor has now taken it over. It remains a popular spot for young people. The cost of a full meal is INR 40. Uttapam and dosa are INR 30. A cup of tea only costs INR 5.
