Joia

We’ll never turn down the newest Portuguese restaurant opening its doors in London and the new location Joia is popular with the masses. Although its roof terrace (complete with theswimming pool) is certainly nailing the Instagram design in the right direction However, we cannot attribute the success of Joia solely on it, as we’ve had the pleasure of eating its delicious menu for ourselves. The excellent pan con tomate was the perfect way to get the menu off to a wonderful beginning (it is possible to turn out the other way as well, you know) and was followed by classic Iberico croquettes made of ham. Once again, it’s something that’s a requirement for this kind of food. The traditional tortilla earned its place in our top ten lists as did the meat pica pau (a very loved Portuguese snack) were also a hit with the crowd. The salted cod was perfectly. We enjoyed Josper-grilled prawns. We recommend to leave some room for the arroz con Leche (in this instance the passionfruit cream rice pudding).

Luca

The moment you step into the outdoor terrace of Luca is like stepping to Italy. Its exposed brick walls are surrounded by lots of trees as well as a roof that retracts the restaurant that has been awarded a Michelin star is the ideal spot to pass the time enjoying the outdoors in style. You can enjoy all the food and drinks that the restaurant has to provide in this tranquil place, from the must-have Parmesan-flavored fries (cheese lovers will desire many servings of the delicious Churros) and the fresh pasta cooked daily within The Pasta Room (shouldn’t everyone have one?). In the summer, specialties of the season consist of Orkney scallops Cornish lobster, and Hebridean lamb. Drink it down with a cocktail from the house like one of the Luca Martini as well as the Gold Negroni, or consult with the head sommelier Enzo to select a wine from their extensive wine menu which includes the dry and bone-dry Soave Classico Calvarino Pieropan gets our choice.

Florattica

Florattica is a treasure trove when you’re in search of subtle luxury

A relatively new addition on the scene of terraces located in London, Florattica sits above the Canopy by Hilton in East London. It’s a hidden gem for those seeking a minimalist luxury and a decor packed with floral patterns and vivid colours, which are with equally strong cocktails. In the rain or shine, this quaint oasis is an ideal hideaway away from the hustle and bustle of the city with outdoor and indoor seating. Here you can sip a range of high-end drinks at the bar as well as sharing a selection of food items. The sourdough flatbread topped with peppers, whipped feta with rosemary jam is an absolute highlight, but you can also enjoy oysters, an assortment of sushi and teriyaki chicken skewers, plus other items.

Sabine

If you’re looking for a place to relax and soak in an amazing summer vibe while enjoying special cocktails Sabine can be the spot to be. With a breathtaking panorama at St Paul’s Cathedral, as beautiful sunsets as well as the Shard on the opposite side, Sabine is a great place to relax after a hard day’s work. With Sabina Coladas and incredibly good daiquiris available (among other popular drinks and of course) it was enough to relax and sip a drink, then eat delicious bar snacks like pulled barbeque jackfruit or lamb tacos and tandoori prawn skewers mac and cheese bon bons, and more.

Outcrop X AngloThai

There’s just a little over one month to enjoy the fantastic collaborative effort with Outcrop with AngloThai in 180 The Strand It’s a great event you shouldn’t miss. The lush courtyard in the center of the city’s West end offers John Chantarasak’s signature (and spicy) Thai-British menu, which includes oysters that are dressed with sea buckthorn and fermented chili curried flatbreads as well as zephyr squash tempura som tam salad, vine leaf wrapped hake, and a lot more. The wines are low-intervention natural, barrelled variety and cocktails are a stomping punch. Relax under the sun’s rays in the canopy and enjoy the bops of DJs as well as selectors and collectors. and then go inside to participate pleasure in the enthralling art installation. This isn’t a spoiler-filled experience. It’s worth watching for yourself.
